FAQ

Yes, of course. I’m always happy to discuss your needs. If I am unable to meet your needs on a particular date, I am happy to offer an alternative celebrant. Celebrants in our area are not in competition but work cooperatively to ensure your wishes are met and your wedding is on the date you desire

Whether you wish me to solemnise your wedding or someone else, book your celebrant early and before you consolidate other bookings such as venues, receptions and the like. Celebrants can be booked well ahead so book early

The two main methods are by phone by calling me on 0427 600279 or by email by sending an email to alanmorriscelebrancies@gmail.com. Alternatively, you can complete details on the form within this website and I will respond as soon as I can

There is general fee if you are married within Port Augusta and Quorn. There are additional costs if you are married at Whyalla, Hawker, Wilpena and Port Pire. We can discuss costs should you wish to marry remotely.

The fee structure includes interviews, the preparation of legal paperwork, all music that you may wish to play, provision of a signing table and chairs, a complete rehearsal the day before the wedding, the development of an order of service that is unique to your needs, and unlimited meetings and consultations. I will look after all the legal documentation, including registering your wedding and sending it into Births, Deaths and Marriages after your ceremony.

Legally, you need to give a minimum of 31 days notice from the lodgement of the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) form and the actual ceremony. Equally, you can lodge the form 18 months ahead of your planned wedding day.
